This is a good example or being courages because the cat is sitting on the rail or a tall building. The cat doesnt even care like its sitting there staring at you like does it want food or is it scared for its life?

Courages is doing something a that threatens your life and this cats life is threatend.

This is another good of example of courag because the little girl is peting the bear but what she doesnt know it that the bear could bite her arm off. Like where is this girls mother because it looks like this bear is hunger. Parent of the year award goes to this girls parents for sure.

This is another good example of courage because they trust there instincts because they dont know if there are rocks in the water they they might land on and die. But they are still going to jump because they are being courages.

Voom! Voom! Voom! Voom! As Tony sat in his car putting his left hand on the wheel and in his other hand a malbro cigaret. As he takes a drag of his cigaret while his friend Nathaniel runs in the car with a big bag in his let hand and a desert eagle. Nathaniel said "GO GO GO!" as nathaniel jumps and burns him self with a cigarette and speeds off. "Wow thats fu***** crazy" said Nathaniel as he put the gun in the back of his pants. "haha want to here something funny? Remember that one time in grade 9 when you really had to fart?" Nathaniel tried to pretend that he hadn't heard Tony because he didn't want to be reminded of that time. "Yeah" said nathaniel in a very very quite voice. "I tried to hold it in but i just couldn't." as Nathaniel pulled out the bag and start pilling onto the the seat. Stacks of a hundred ten thousands. "you didnt try to hold it you just let it rip soo hard." said Tony. Very quietly they could heresirens in the distance. "THEY ARE COMING!!" said nathaniel as tony started to speed up. Nathaniel begin to fill the bag with crumbled newspapers. Then Nathaniel started to pull out his weapon of mass destruction a.k.a a gun. "Dont shoot." said tony as he turned down a dark ally. "we lost them" said tony. "What did the teacher even do to you when he sent you out of the classroom?". Two strage men approached the vehicle and he handed them the bag. then they drove away hoping that the cops are waiting for them. "Oh nothing. He just trold me if i ever needed to fart just to ask the washroom." said Nathaniel. They drove into the sunset and were never to be seen again.

Poetry nalysis

It is in the small things we see it.
The child's first step, 
as awesome as an earthquake.
The first time you rode a bike, 
wallowing up the sidewalk.
The first spanking when your heart
went on a journey all alone.
When they called you crybaby
or poor or fatty or crazy
and made you into an alien, 
you drank their acid
and concealed it.

Later, 
if you faced the death of bombs and bullets
you did not do it with a banner, 
you did it with only a hat to
cover your heart.
You did not fondle the weakness inside you
though it was there.
Your courage was a small coal
that you kept swallowing.
If your buddy saved you
and died himself in so doing, 
then his courage was not courage, 
it was love; love as simple as shaving soap.

Later, 
if you have endured a great despair, 
then you did it alone, 
getting a transfusion from the fire, 
picking the scabs off your heart, 
then wringing it out like a sock.
Next, my kinsman, you powdered your sorrow, 
you gave it a back rub
and then you covered it with a blanket
and after it had slept a while
it woke to the wings of the roses
and was transformed.

Later, 
when you face old age and its natural conclusion
your courage will still be shown in the little ways, 
each spring will be a sword you'll sharpen, 
those you love will live in a fever of love, 
and you'll bargain with the calendar
and at the last moment
when death opens the back door
you'll put on your carpet slippers
and stride out.

Question #1: The author message is that you can be courages anytime in your life. For example when the author says "the first time you rode your bike, wallowing down the side walk.'' He is saying that everything takes courage unless you try.

Question #2:While reading this poem i pictured a someones life and all the courage he went through to get to the end. Like when the author says "The first child's steps" and at the end he says "when death opens the back door and you put on your carpet slippers and stride out."

Question #3: In the poem the author did use symbolism. When he says "when they called you cry baby or poor or fatty or crazy and made you into an alien, you drank their acid and concealed it." The author is saying that he believed them and was a fatty and crazy and tried to change himself even though nothing was wrong with him.

Question #4: I feel that this is an effective poem and represents courage very well. It shows courage because the author is showing you that we are all courages and you just don't realize it.
